Kale--who knew?
I came across a recipe on the web for kale. I've never tried kale, but I was feeling adverturesome. It was really good! Here's what I did: I started with 1 Knorr veggie bouillion cube in 2 cups of water in a saucepan. I turned it on med. high while I washed, trimmed and tore kale into bite-sized pieces and added it to the pan. I added about 1/2 c. cooked, diced bacon and about 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes. Then I covered it and simmered about 2 hours. Then I served it over a french baugette, topped with a soft-cooked egg. You really have to try it!
